2015 Classic Wines Auction Gets Boost from Regional and International Wine Pioneers

PORTLAND, Ore. – The Classic Wines Auction (CWA) has announced its lineup of renowned wineries serving as Honorary Wine Ambassadors for the 31st annual event scheduled for March 7, 2015, at the Oregon Convention Center in Portland. CWA Honorary Ambassadors are top-quality wineries that produce premium wines reflective of their regions along the West Coast and abroad. 2015 Wine Ambassadors include:
The Wine Ambassador’s Dinner, planned for March 6, will feature cuisine paired with wines presented by the Honorary Wine Ambassadors. Held the following evening, the Auction attracts more than 800 wine and food enthusiasts and philanthropists from across the nation. In 2014, the Auction raised nearly $3.5 million for its five benefiting charities, an all-time single-year fundraising record. The 2015 benefiting charities include: Metropolitan Family Service (MFS), New Avenues for Youth, Friends of the Children-Portland, YWCA Clark County and Randall Children’s Hospital at Legacy Emanuel.
