Randall Children’s Hospital Receives $406,548 from Classic Wines Auction
PORTLAND, Ore. – The Classic Wines Auction presented Randall Children’s Hospital at Legacy Emanuel with a check for $406,548 at a recent presentation ceremony in North Portland. This year’s auction raised more than $3 million for six benefiting charities in Oregon and Southwest Washington.
For over four years Randall Children’s Hospital has served children in a state-of-the-art facility built specifically to treat youth, and keep them and their families comfortable during their stay. With support from Classic Wines Auction, the hospital can continue to provide treatment to all children, regardless of income. The hospital offers many programs at low or no cost to the community as well, including injury-prevention programs in schools, car seat safety checks, bicycle helmet fittings and home child safety assessment classes in the safety center.
This year’s five other benefiting charities are Metropolitan Family Service, New Avenues for Youth, Friends of the Children-Portland, YWCA Clark County and Special Olympics Oregon.
