Two Weeks of Wine: 31 Winemaker Dinners Set for Portland
Tickets now on sale for dinners, Feb. 24-26 and March 3-5, to benefit local charities
PORTLAND, Ore. –The Classic Wines Auction (CWA) today announced its list of 31 spring winemaker dinners. The annual winemaker dinners, held at award-winning Portland restaurants each fall and spring, offer guests one-night-only menus specially prepared for the evening. The multi-course dinners are paired with wines from 39 regional winemakers. Seats for each dinner are $150 per person.

This year’s spring dinner series also includes the winemaker dinner raffle. Only 550 raffle tickets will be sold at $50 each. Prizes include bundles of $100 gift certificates to various restaurants participating in the spring winemaker dinners. Prize bundles range in value from $300-$600. The raffle drawing will be held on March 27 and winners will be notified by phone, following the at-random drawing.
Revenues raised from the winemaker dinners and raffle tickets support five benefiting charities from the Portland metro area and SW Washington, including: Metropolitan Family Service (MFS), New Avenues for Youth, Friends of the Children-Portland, YWCA Clark County and Randall Children’s Hospital at Legacy Emanuel. Tickets for the spring winemaker dinners and raffle can be purchased online.
