DESCRIPTION

Many experiences claim to be “once in a lifetime,” but this trip to Chile to taste wine, take in the area’s beauty and culture, and, most amazing of all, experience a total solar eclipse, truly earns the title.

Win this package, and you and another couple will spend six days and five nights in Chile exploring the world-class wine offerings of the Maipo and Casablanca Valleys, getting to know firsthand the winemakers and the wines behind Viña Antiyal, Kingston Vineyards, Santa Rita, and Villard. Your bilingual guide will share the best of the region with you, and you’ll be staying in chic hotels replete with modern comforts.

The trip’s highlight is the total solar eclipse you’ll experience—picnic basket at your side—in Temuco, where the eclipse is most vivid in its eerie, pulse-stopping beauty. The majority of this total solar eclipse takes place over the Pacific Ocean, making lodging in the path of totality very rare. Did we already say this was the trip of a lifetime?
