Family Meal, a nonprofit founded in 2019 and 100% volunteer-run, provides financial relief to Oregon’s food service and agricultural workers in a medical debt crisis. Grants are being provided related to COVID-19.

A group of restaurant owners and operators advocating and building community during this time of need.
Chef Johnny Nunn (Verdigris, Daisy) spearheads an effort to fund chef-crafted meals and meal delivery to local health professionals in the Portland Metro area.

The purpose of the James Beard Foundation Food and Beverage Industry Relief Fund (the “Fund”) is to provide critical financial assistance to small, independent restaurants that, due to the COVID-19 (Coronavirus) national disaster, have an immediate need for funds to pay set operating expenses and keep from going out of business.
